Born in Oberhausen, Germany (1987). Currently lives and works in Leiria. Graduated in Industrial Design by ESAD.CR and Free University of Bolzano. After an internship at Atelier Julien Carretero in Eindhoven (Netherlands) decides to co-found VICARA in Caldas da Rainha, in 2011. Sellmayer was a research fellow at CDRSP – Leiria, where he developed works in the field of Virtual Reality and Product Development. In 2011, he received an Honorable Mention in the project POP’s Serralves. In 2014, he was awarded with the prize  Prémio Inovação / Valor Pneu. He has organized several exhibitions and events promoting design and manufacturing, such as Caldas Design Week and OFF Portugal. Since 2015 that he has been responsible for VICARA’s design management.
